Eating fat meat common mistake in ketogenic diet, says nutritionist – Health

The high in fat and low in carbohydrates diet known as ketogenic diet is currently on trend. Contrary to popular assumption, the diet program does not encourage dieters to consume too much saturated fat.

Clinical nutritionist Samuel Oetoro pointed out this common mistake to, mentioning that ketogenic diet followers tend to consume fat meat, which contains saturated fat.

Samuel suggested that 80 percent of the total fat in ketogenic diet should come from polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), such as fish, fish oil and soybean oil.
